Will the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit Fit a 1-1/8" Thick Door
Question:
RV ENTRY DOOR LATCH, WE HAVE AN ENCLOSED TRAILER AND THE DOOR THICKNESS IS 1 1/8. WE TRIED ONE THAT SAYS 1 1/4 TO 1 1/2 BUT IT WONT TIGHTEN UP DO THE MAKE ONE TO FIT IT. THE ROUGH OPENING IS 2 3/4 X 3 3/4

I do have an option for you but all of our entry door latches like the Global Link RV Entry Door Locking Latch Kit part # 295-000019 which is what I recommend are for 1-1/4" - 1-1/2" thick doors. Therefore, if you have a thinner door you would need to make up a set of spacers or shims to fill the gap so you can properly tighten down the screws. The latch cutout dimensions are 2-1/2" wide x 3-1/2" tall to 3" wide x 4" tall.
