Can You Increase Tire Size To a 175/80R13 Trailer Tire On a Fleetwood Taos Popup Camper

I currently have 5/30/12 tires on fleet wood Taos and seeing your ad I was wondering if I can go with the kenda 13”

To determine if you will be able to change from the 5.30-12 Trailer Tire # AM30859 to a ST175/80R13 Radial Trailer Tire # AM31994 you will need to measure your tire clearance on your Fleetwood Taos.

The 175/80R13 is 2.1" taller and 1.5" wider than your 5.30-12 you currently have. So you will want to ensure you have 1-3/4" of space on your sidewalls and 4.1" of vertical clearance on the tread face. This will ensure that you have enough room for the suspension to flex and the sidewall will not contact parts of the trailer when it flexes.
