Fifth Wheel Hitch that Can Attach to Flip Up Gooseneck Hitch In Truck Bed
Question:
I have a 2006 dodge ram 3500 with a flip down gooseneck ball mounted on top of the bed, it was installed by the previous owner and I dont know the brand. I am looking to tow my 42ft 5th wheel camper @ 15500 gvw, is there an option for the gooseneck ball set up I currently have to a 5th wheel head. Id like to keep the 5th wheel connection on the trailer as I have another truck set up with the rails and 5th wheel hitch already. I have seen a few, but all appear to mention recessed ball or under bed mounted gooseneck ball or are for the turn over or newer design. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

The Demco Recon part # DM8550045 is what you are looking for. This attaches to a standard gooseneck ball like what you have that isn't recessed and gives you a fifth wheel hitch like you are wanting. This is also lightweight for a fifth wheel hitch and also has a really quiet and tight jaw design as well.
