The Adapter 4-Way Flat to 6-Way Square for Jayco, item # 30104, will work with your Jayco trailer but you will not have power for your auxillary connection or your trailer brakes.

One option for you to have power to all of your trailers electrical functions is to use the 6-Pole Square Trailer Wiring Connector Kit (Car and Trailer Ends), item # 37995, and splice into your vehicles 4-way wiring for the taillights and hard wire the two remaining circuits. If you have two vehicles that you want to wire with the 6-way square connector then you would need two of item # 37995.

The trailer brake wire will be the blue wire that comes from your brake controller and you will need to install a 12 volt power wire, through a circuit breaker, from the vehicle battery for your auxillary power connection.

If you do not have a brake controller installed yet, I would recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy, item # 90185. Along with the brake controller, you can use the # ETBC6 installation kit which has all of the wiring, circuit breakers and connectors you will need to wire the brake controller and power wires to a standard 6-way trailer connector. This kit also retains your 4-way connector at the rear of the vehicle. You would then need to change the Jayco trailer connector over to a standard 6-way connector with the, trailer end 6-Way Trailer Connector, item # PK11604. If you want to wire two vehicles with the # ETBC6 Kit you could use the Tekonsha brake controller in both vehicles with the Replacement Pocket Bracket for Prodigy , item # 7686 and the Replacement Plug in Harness for Tekonsha, item # 7894, and switch the controller from vehicle to vehicle when needed.
