With your pin box on your 1996 Newmar American Star 32' 5th wheel no longer being used I recommend using a Convert-A-Ball Cushioned 5th-Wheel-to-Gooseneck Adapter w/ Offset # CAB-C5GX1216. This will allow you to connect to a gooseneck ball in your 2022 Dodge Ram. This has a 7-1/2" cushioned offset that will increase your turning radius.
If you already have 5th wheel rails in your ram the Curt Spyder Gooseneck Trailer Hitch for Fifth Wheel Rail # 16085 will mount to the rails giving you a gooseneck ball.
If you do not have any hitch in your Ram we have the B&W Turnoverball Underbed Gooseneck Trailer Hitch # BWGNRK1394 fits the 2002 Ram 2500 and 3500 with either a 6-1/2' bed or 8' bed. If you have a different truck please let me know what truck you have and I can identify a gooseneck hitch that will fit your truck.
