Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs For 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 with 6" Rough Country Lift
Question:
I have a 2014 Chevy 1500 with a 6” rough country lift. It has blocks under the leafs in the rear. I am looking for some airbags to help with the back looking low when i have weight in the back. In the product pictures it looks like the bag mounts on top of the leaf pack and goes the the outer frame on the side this would work for me. But in the customer pictures it appears it goes from the diff and cradles the bottom of the frame would not work for me without a spacer. Is there a kit that goes from the top of the leafs to the out frame on the side?

Looking at the current Rough Country 6" lift kit for your 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500 it as a 6" front lift with 4" rear lift blocks that level the truck. This would require you to use the 4" Lift Spacers # F2370 to install the Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2430 on your truck. The top bracket for the kit mounts to the frame while the lower bracket mounts to the jounce spring pad on top of the axle. There are no kits that mount on top of the leaf springs.
I recommend using the Air Lift WirelessAIR Compressor System # AL58WQ to control the air pressure in the bags. You will be able to adjust the air pressure in each bag individually from the Air Lift app on your smart phone. This means no air lines are being ran into the cab and no remotes to lose or break. The system features a smart manifold that will monitor and maintain air pressure to within 3psi while your truck is operated saving you from having to constantly check the air pressure.
