Mounting Bracket Dimensions of Curt Hitch # C13701
Question:
I have a 2017 KZ Durango 2500 315 RKD with a rear folding tray. I am trying to add a hitch, but keep the tray should I need it. The problem is that most of the hitches need to bolt or weld to the 2inch rectangular channel at about the spot the bracket for the tray is attached. My question is how wide is the top of the frame brackets on the C13702 hitch? In other words, will it fit between the bracket so that I can bolt or weld it where it needs to go and still keep the tray? Thanks!

On the Curt hitch part # C13701 the width of the mounting brackets is 10 inches. The distance between the mounting holes is 8-1/2 inches.
