Installing 13500 BTU Advent AC To 7x12 Enclosed Trailer

Question:

Hey guys, Id like your professional advice on what type of air conditioner would be best for my trailer. I have a 7 x 12 enclosed trailer, I use it for hauling off road motorcycles and the occasional overnight stay. Id like the temps to be more comfortable inside during the day, or for occasional overnight stays. I live in FL, so temps can get pretty hot. I will be powering it with a Predator 3500 generator, with 3500 starting watts and 3000 running watts. I am new to this so any information is appreciated! Thanks,

Thanks for reaching out, for you I recommend going with the parts below.

**Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu - Black # ACM135BC.
**Advent Air RV Air Conditioner w/ Air Distribution Box and Start Capacitor - 13,500 Btu - White # ACM135C.
*Roof Vent Installation Kit - Sealant, Butyl Tape, Screws - White # 344270KITW.

My recommendation is to go with the Advent Air 13,500 BTU unit, comes in black or white. This unit will move more than enough air to keep a trailer that size plenty cool. The unit also comes with a start capacitor that you will help start the unit with a generator.

You will need to reinforce your roof because the unit is 68 pounds and needs a mounting surface that is 2-5 inches thick and a hole that is 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide.
And I linked an install kit with butyl tape and sealant.

It fits roofs 2-1/2" to 5" thick, needs an opening size: 14-1/4" long x 14-1/4" wide.
It has a power draw (while running) of 15 amps the compressor power draw (while running) is 9.9 amps and the fan motor power draw (while running) is 2.6 amps.
