What wiring kit do I need for a 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum model? Does the kit come with directions? Thanks in advance

There are different options for a wiring harness on your 2022 Toyota Highlander Hybrid Platinum depending on whether or not you have the factory tow package. If you do have the factory tow package then you can use the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK74FR. This will plug into the tow package wiring harness at the rear of your vehicle.
If you do not have the factory tow package, you need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # TK99FR instead. Another possible option would be to add the Tekonsha OEM Replacement Vehicle Wiring Harness w Brake Controller Adapter - 7 Way Trailer Connector # TK57VR. If you think you might need a 7-way eventually then this would be the way to go. In order to use a trailer with a 4-way you could use the Pollak 7 Pole to 4 Way Connector Adapter # PK12716.
