The ModuLite on the T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118467 for your 2014 Subaru Forester serves 2 purposes. First it lessens draw put on the wiring by drawing power from the battery to power the lights on the trailer or Auxilary Lights # C53201. Secondly it coverts the tail light wiring from a 3-wire system(Left Signal, Right Signal and Brake) to a 2-wire system, since the trailer tail lights carry power for the turn signals and brake lights on the same yellow and green wires.
A Mounting Bracket # 18144 can be used to secure the 4-way connector near your receiver if you prefer to route the connection outside of the rear storage area.
