Comparing 1,200 Lb Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension Systems
Question:
I have a lightweight aluminum trailer for carrying my kayak/sailboat. Im in the process of upgrading it to carry 2 such boats. The total weight of the 2 will not exceed 600 pounds probably never over 500 pounds, and Id like to use the Timbren axle-less system that is rated for 1200 pounds. Im confused as to the difference between this item

The only difference between the Timbren Axle-Less Trailer Suspension System part # ASR1200S04 and part # ASR1200S02 is that the former has brake flanges so you can install brakes if needed. I have attached options for each setup below.
ASR1200S04
- Dexter Hub/Drum part # 8-173-16UC3-EZ
- Dexter Trailer Brakes part # 23-47-48
ASR1200S02
- Dexter Idler Hub part # 8-91-05UC1-EZ
