Will the BandW Companion gooseneck to 5th wheel adapter BWRVK3500 work with my factory installed gooseneck hitch on 2016 gmc 3500 long bed ?

It all depends on what shape the hole is where the hitch ball goes into. If it is square then your B&W Hitch # BWRVK3500 will be fine and it will fit right in. For example like this B&W Gooseneck hitch # BWGNRK1020. The opening is square.
Now If you don't have a square opening your only option would be The Convert-A-Ball # CAB-C5G which will sit on your gooseneck ball and turn into an attachment point for your fifth wheel trailer. I will have a link below of the Convert-A-Ball.
