Travel Trailer Bumper Bike Rack Recommendation for Fat Tire e-Bikes

Question:

I have a Wolf Pup travel trailer with the standard 4” steel rear bumper I would like to carry my two Rad 6 Plus e bikes fat tire on the back with. I’ve noticed several, “not for travel trailer.” Why? And what do you recommend? Dirt/weather, I will cover. Weight shouldn’t be a problem, and why hasn’t anyone provided two attachment points to the bumper? Please help.

The travel trailer hitch receivers tend to have more movement since they are further away from the rearmost axle when compared to a passenger vehicle. This means the racks need to be tested and approved for this extra movement which is why we don't recommend all bike racks (although any bike rack will technically fit).

For your application I recommend installing the Curt RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # E-100 and then using the Lets Go Aero V-Lectric FAT PRO Bike Rack for 2 Electric Bikes # LGA77FR. This is a pretty hefty bike rack but it can handle up to 75 lb bikes with 4.5" wide tires and it's the only one like it that is rated for use on a travel trailer.

Attached is a review video for you to check out.
