Is the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box Safe
Question:
Hello, Can you tell me when you started selling the GY23FR and about how many have you sold? Looks interesting but a bit concerned about risky my fifth wheel and family for years to come on what appears to be a new to market hitch design. Thanks,

The Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box part # GY23FR is a fairly new product but not a new design. It mounts to the trailer using the same standard method that any other pin box does from the factory since the inception of fifth wheel trailers and absorbs shock using a torsion system which has been used on trailer axles for decades. The cushioned pin boxes have been becoming more and more popular over the last several years and they are proven safe. They are even used from the factory on certain trailers.
I can't really answer your exact questions specifically but there are no safety concerns or issues with the Gen-Y Hitch Shock Absorbing 5th Wheel Pin Box and it has a five year warranty to back that up.
