Will the SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs Raise and Level 2022 Cougar 25RES
Question:
I may need something to raise my trailer a couple of inches since it rides with the rear lower than the front. Will/can these Sumo springs do that? I would also like the advantage of shock absorption and sway control that these would provide and wasnt really interested in adding a lift kit. FYI, my 5th wheel hitch is set properly to clear the bed rails by 5-6.

The SumoSprings Trailer Helper Springs w/ Line Relocation Bracket - Single Axle - 5K to 8K - Underslung # SS33HR are designed to provide additional support for a more comfortable ride. Although they may raise your 2022 Cougar 25RES a little bit, it will not be the couple of inches you are looking for. These are not intended to be a lift kit, just to keep you at the normal height. These will, however, provide the shock absorption and sway control you are looking for.
If you have already tried lowering the head of your hitch and raising the pin box to a higher set of mounting holes, a lift kit is going to be your solution. The Correct Track Trailer Alignment and Lift Kit - Tandem Axle # RR23QX will raise your height by 1-1/4" or 2-1/4". This combined with pin box and hitch adjustments will be the best option to get your 5th wheel level.
