Compatibility of Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs With In-Bed Hitch on 2016 Ford F-150

RE: Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs - Double Convoluted - Rear Axle I have a 2016 F-150 2WD. 5th Wheel universal rails have been installed and I use an Anderson hitch. Can I use this air bag kit with the universal rails or is a different product recommended?

The Firestone Ride-Rite Air Helper Springs # F2582 are not compatible with an in-bed hitch. This means you will not be able to use them on your 2016 F-150. Instead, I recommend the Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Ultimate Air Helper Springs with Internal Jounce Bumpers # AL88268.
These air bags will help keep your truck level and help improve steering and braking performance. They have a 2-Ply fabric-reinforced rubber construction and uses Zytel nylon endcaps. These have a load-leveling capacity of 5,000 lbs and are made in the USA.
I would also highly recommend adding an air compressor like the Air Lift WirelessONE # AL25980EZ. This will allow you to adjust the air pressure from the cab of your vehicle. It also means you can add air without having to find an air compressor if you need it while traveling.
