Is The Club Tire Claw XL Wheel Lock Easy to Open When Unlocked
Question:
This product: The Club Tire Claw XL Wheel Lock with Lug Nut Protector Plate Item # WI491-491LNP If someone were to cut thru the bar where the lock is, would the arms be easily opened? Im just wanting a quick wheel lock for my vintage vehicle when Im in parking lots for more than half an hour. Also looking at the e trailer yellow wheel lock, does that take longer to cut through? Thanks

If someone cut the lock on The Club Tire Claw XL Wheel Lock with Lug Nut Protector Plate # WI491-491LNP then it would be easy to open as you can see in the attached review video. This would is the same for the etrailer Trailer Wheel Lock # 288-02020 that you referenced.
The design of The Club Tire Claw XL makes it harder to cut the lock without damaging the tire plus it comes with that plate that covers up the lug nuts and gives you more protection so that's my recommendation.
When it comes to cut strength that isn't something these are rated for but I imagine it'd be about the same. It's important to remember that locks are really just meant to be a theft deterrent and aren't a guarantee against theft. Given enough time, talent, and resources any lock can be beat so it's best to try to have the most secure-looking lock so any would-be thief will move along to an easier target. I think The Club Tire Claw XL looks more intimidating which is why I recommend going that route.
