Replacement Trailer Slipper Springs, Hubs and Tires For a Square Axle Utility Trailer

Question:

Hello, i have a boat trailer im trying to repair and im not sure what parts to get. I have measurements but no knowledge about compatibility. The original manufacturers closed down. Is there any way to check on that? Am looking for 24" 2 ply leaf springs, 2 4" bolts for said leaf springs, 2 5 lug 4.5" hubs, 2 4.80-12 tubeless tires. I apologize if im mislabeling anything, will attach pics. Any help will be greatly appreciated, especially when it comes to compatibility. Thanks

From your images and information provided it looks like you will need the 2-Leaf Slipper Spring # SP-177275. I have added a diagram for the measurement points on this spring for you to compare to ensure it is the correct spring. To begin it has a weight rating of 1,000lbs for the pair of springs. Measurement A-11-3/16", B-22-11/16", C-24-5/8", D-12", E-14-1/2", F-3-1/2" the spring is also 1-3/4" wide. The Wet Equalizer Bolt with Locknut and Grease Zerk # 126B2 will allow you to grease the eye bolt.

For the hub this will depend on your spindle size. We have the Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-1K which fits a BT8 straight spindle which is 1" in diameter or a Easy Grease Trailer Idler Hub Assembly # AKIHUB-545-2-G-EZ-2K which fits a BTR straight spindle which is 1.063" in diameter. You will need to remove one hub assemble to measure the spindle with a Digital Caliper # PTW80157.

We also have the Taskmaster 4.80R12 Radial Trailer Tire # TT48012C.
