Converting 4-Way on 2001 Toyota Tundra to 6-Way For Electric Brakes
Question:
Is there is there any way to get my four point flat plug in to convert to my trailer 6-point and have my trailer brakes work

There is a kit that will allow you to convert the 4-way on your 2001 Toyota Tundra to a 6-way so you can use an electric brake controller; what you will need is an install kit:
- Universal Installation Kit for Trailer Brake Controller - 6-Way and 4-Way Flat # ETBC6
This will allow you to install a 6-way on your Tundra, which you will plug in your trailer's connector to. You can then use an electric brake controller such as the Tekonsha Primus IQ Trailer Brake Controller # TK90160.
