Can Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack be Used on 5th Wheel Trailer With 4 Square Bumper

Can the Kuat Sherpa bike rack be attached to a 4 in. square bumper on a fifth wheel trailer using a bolt on 2 in receiver?

While we do have an option for you, the Kuat Sherpa 2.0 Bike Rack # SH22G is not rated for use on a 5th wheel trailer. It will physically work, but will void the warranty, and isn't designed to handle the amount of movement and bounce that occurs at the rear of a 5th wheel trailer, which is much more than a standard passenger vehicle.
So instead, for a similar wheel-mounted bike rack that is rated for use behind a 5th wheel trailer, I highly recommend a rack from Yakima:
- Yakima OnRamp Bike Rack # Y36FR
The OnRamp # Y36FR has a 60 lb per-bike capacity which is more than enough for the vast majority of bikes, has integrated locks on its arms to protect your bikes, and an anti-rattle hitch lock that protects the rack.
The rack will mount directly to a 2 inch hitch, with the best option for a 4 inch square bumper being the etrailer RV Bumper 2" Trailer Hitch Receiver # e38HR.
