How to Choose Correct Lug Nuts for 16 Inch Wheel

Question:

I have a Doolittle 16+6 EZ loader trailer with 8x6.5 lug pattern. I ordered wheels from you but need lug nuts, do you know the size of the lug I would need? It is a 2 axel 14k trailer

Thank you for your purchase of the Aluminum Viking Series Valhalla Trailer Wheel # AX02665865HDBML!

The most common lug nut size for trailer tires is 1/2" so you should be able to use the Stainless Steel Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 1/2"-20 # LHLR103. The Stainless Steel Lionshead Trailer Wheel Lug Nut - 9/16"-18 # LHLR110 might work but it is less common so I doubt this is what you have.

A sure way to know which one you have is to measure how many threads you have in an inch of your wheel bolt. The 1/2"-20 fits if you have 20 threads per inch while the 9/16"-18 has 18 threads per inch.
