Will The etrailer.com Class III Hitch Fit A 2022 Honda CR-V Hybrid?
Question:
I want to get a hitch and wiring set up for my 2022 Honda CR-V, but I saw something about a Draw-Tite Max-Frame 76128 only fitting a non-Hybrid and it got me concerned. I didn't see this hitch listed for my car, but I wanted to make absolutely sure the hitch I am looking at will fit now. Etrailer's e98848 hitch. Am I good with this one? Also, is the wiring specific to Hybrid and non-Hybrid models?

The etrailer.com Class III Trailer Hitch # e98848 is actually designed to fit all options of 2022 Honda CR-V, including your Hybrid. You are also correct in that the Draw-Tite # 76128 not fitting Hybrid models or your year CR-V, so don't worry about that hitch.
The wiring is also specific to an option, but not necessarily Hybrid or non-Hybrid. However, as all the Hybrid models came standard with All Wheel Drive, you will need the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118741. This is a quick and easy plug and play option that will take no time to complete. I have also found the Tekonsha wiring harnesses to be the best ones out of all we carry, so they are always highly recommended.
As it sounds like you will be towing, you will also need a ball mount, ball, and a pin and clip to keep everything in the hitch. Though the correct ball mount will depend on how much rise or drop you will need, going off the average 17" coupler height and the # e98848 hitch sitting at 11-3/4" (measured from the ground to the inside top of the hitch), something like the Draw-Tite Ball Mount # 40346 with 4-3/4" of rise would be perfect. The 2" Hitch Ball # 40038 will also fit this ball mount perfectly and I like the # C21510 Pin and Clip due to the rubberized sections, which make it easier to handle.
