Can the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2" Hitch Ball Be Used With Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount
Question:
Would you use the cushioned convert-a ball mount together with the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2inch Hitch Ball or is this pointless?

Expert Reply:
You could certainly use the Convert-A-Ball Ball Mount for 2" Hitches # AMSC4 together with the Curt RockerBall Shock Absorbing 2" Hitch Ball # C40047. Whether it is pointless or not is dependent on what you are doing or experiencing right now.
If you are getting/expecting a lot of bouncing, rattling, and vibration, then the combination will certainly help to reduce this. If you aren't, then it probably isn't necessary. Worst case scenario it isn't going to hurt anything, only help. My recommendation, if possible, is to pick one and use it first. That is assuming you have a ball that could be used with the ball mount, or a ball mount the Curt RockerBall would fit on. If you think you need more, go ahead and purchase the other and use them together.
I have attached some review videos for your reference.
