Availability of Replacement Hub and Drum Assembly to Add Brakes to M1102 Trailer
Question:
I want to remove the stock military hubs and brakes. I instead want a hub that will accommodate the same 6 lug pattern as my Tacoma and I want to install electric brakes. I found a question below that inspired me to send you as message.

Based on the question you looked at I'm going to assume your outer bearing has a 1.75" inner diameter and your inner bearing a 1.25" inner diameter. You will want to verify this information to make sure it is correct. For a hub with a 6 bolt pattern that matches the bearings we have the etrailer Trailer Hub and Drum # AKHD-655-6-K.
This hub and drum assembly is designed for 5,200 lb and 6,000 lb axles. It has a 6 on 5-1/2 bolt pattern, so you will need to make sure that matches your Tacoma wheels. You will also need the # 25580 inner bearing, # 15123 outer bearing, and # GS-2125DL grease seal. The grease seal has an inner diameter of 2.125". See the diagram below which shows where to measure or look for part numbers to identify your current bearings and grease seal. Again, I would verify to make sure since this is correct. It is possible these trailers used different parts over time or even within the same year.
Assuming everything matches up, you will want some 12" x 2" brake assemblies like the Dexter Electric Trailer Brake Kit - 12" - Left and Right Hand Assemblies - 6,000 lbs # 23-105-106. It is also worth noting that you need a brake flange on your axle. If you do not have one the brakes will have nothing to mount to. You will also need to run wiring to your brakes like the # 10-1-1 and add a breakaway kit like the # 20400.
If you don't have a brake controller, I recommend the Redarc Tow-Pro Elite Trailer Brake Controller # RED44FR. If you let me know what year your Toyota Tacoma is I can let you know if a custom wiring harness is available for the brake controller.
I have attached some review videos along with some helpful articles on trailer wiring and adding electric brakes for your reference.
