Tire Snow Chains Recommended For 2022 Ford F-150
Question:
I need tire chains for the 265/70-17 tires on my 2022 Ford F-150, but I'm not sure what to get. Can you make a recommendation? Please and thank you.

I'd be happy to help with that. Your owner's manual recommends using Class S rated snow chains (unlike the # TC2828 chains you'd looked at) on the rear wheels only. Class S chains offer the proper clearance to the inside of the tire, which prevents steering, brake and suspension components from being damaged by the chains.
I'd recommend the Konig Self-Tensioning Diamond Pattern chains, part # TH01594267. The chains will self tension and self center as you drive off, making the installation pretty simple. The diamond pattern keeps more of the chain in contact with the road surface for better lateral traction than ladder style chains. I'll link to an installation/demonstration video that you'll find helpful.
We recommend doing a dry run installing the chains. It's easier to install them and familiarize yourself with the install process in the safety of your driveway or garage, rather than the side of the road kneeling in the snow.
