Can the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar be Used to Flat-Tow My 2012 Jeep Liberty?

Setting up a new Toad and I have a Blue Ox BX7380 6500 LB capacity. Is this sufficient to tow a 2012 Jeep Liberty?

From the available specs I have on your 2012 Jeep Liberty, the Blue Ox Alpha 2 Tow Bar # BX7380 will provide you enough weight capacity for your vehicle. In addition to the tow bar, you need the following components:
- Blue Ox Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms # BX1131
- Demco SBS Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System # SM99251
Roadmaster 4-Diode Universal Wiring Kit for Towed Vehicles # RM-152-1676-7
- Blue Ox 7' Safety Cables - 7,500 lbs # BX88196 (if you do not have the original ones that came with the Alpha 2)
The great thing about the Blue Ox Base Plate kit is that is simply installs into your Liberty's chassis with all required hardware included. It is also 100% made in the U.S.A. and provides you with a hidden design. In addition, you will also receive the proportional action of the SBS Stay-IN-Play which applies the Liberty's brakes at the same level that you apply the brakes to your RV. This activation method will not have a timed delay like other systems. With the diode kit, this will allow you to connect your RV's tail, brake, and turn signal lights to your Liberty's lighting system.
