Using a Go Power Portable with Go Power Solar Elite Charging System
Question:
Hello, I currently own this panel, and my trailer has a gopower solar plug on the outside. I am considering installing the double panel roof mount kit by gopower item #34282184 and I want to be able to use this portable panel to add to the charging capability especially if the roof panels are in the shade. How would i be able to use all panels at the same time, given there are going to be 2 controllers? Thanks!

You can use the Go Power Portable Solar Panel with Digital Solar Controller, # 34282730 and fixed panels, such as the Go Power Solar Elite Charging System, # 34282184 simultaneously. The Go Power Solar Elite Charging System, # 34282184 comes with a 30-Amp PWM solar controller that will probably handle the combined. However, the portable unit can still be maintained with its current solar controller, it does not require to be dependent on the same controller as the the Go Power Solar Elite Charging System, # 34282184. I do suggest matching the charge profiles of each controller though.
