We can absolutely get your 2016 Chevy Silverado 2500 with 265/70R18 tires set up with snow tire chains, and the best option is going to depend on the type of weather you encounter, either snow with light ice, or heavier snow with lots of ice potential.
- Snow & Light Ice: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains - Ladder Pattern - Twist Links # TC2228
- Snow & Heavy Ice: Titan Chain Snow Tire Chains with Cams - Ladder Pattern - V-Bar Link # TC2828CAM
The difference between these is the V-bar links on the # TC2828CAM chains, which is why they are better for either heavily packed snow or icier conditions. The V-bars are like little studs on the chains, and what they do is dig into the ice (or heavily packed snow), which is why they give a better grip under those conditions.
Otherwise, these are both ladder-pattern chains which means they are particularly good at starting and stopping, and they are twisted links, which are superb for traction even in deep snow. The only other thing I recommend are rubber adjusters to ensure the chains have a consistently snug fit, the Titan Chain Multi-Arm Rubber Tire Chain Adjusters # TCMA2.
