Recommended Trailer Hitch Receiver for Saris SuperClamp EX 4 on 2022 Subaru Ascent

I just got a 2022 Subaru Ascent and I would now like a hitch so I can carry my Saris SuperClamp EX 4. Pretty sure it needs to have a 2" receiver to fit.

In order to carry your SuperClamp EX 4 # SA4026F with your 2022 Subaru Ascent, I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver # e55ZR. This custom fit Class III hitch has a 2" receiver and a max tongue weight of 750 lbs which will be able to handle your fully loaded bike rack. It features a matte black finish and has a completely hidden design when your removable panel is installed on your bumper.
If you plan on doing some towing when you aren't carrying your bike rack, I recommend adding the Tekonsha T-One Vehicle Wiring Harness # 118790 as well. This plugs into the connection point in your rear cargo area and will provide you with a 4-way to power your trailer's signal lights.
For a ball mount, the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989900 is a great option. This kit has two ball mounts, one with a 3/4" rise or 2" drop and the other with a 2-3/4" rise or 4" drop. It also comes with a 1-7/8" and 2" ball, as well as a ball mount bag to store everything in.
