How To Run Backup Lights On a Trailer
Question:
I am looking to add a reverse light to my trailer which is powered from the running lights but is controlled through the reverse light circuit which activates a bluetooth switch connected to the reverse light. Absent that, do you sell a bluetooth activated trailer light?

In order to run reverse lights on a trailer they will need to be powered through the trailer connector. If you have a 7-way trailer connector which is most common then there will already be a terminal for the reverse light circuit which is activated by the vehicle. This means you will need to run a wire like part # 12-1-1 from the front of the trailer to the rear but there is no way around that to my knowledge. This will then allow you to install any backup light like the Optronics FLEET Count LED Backup Light part # BUL12CFB. I have attached our full list of backup lights below.
