For your 2022 Chevy Colorado I recommend the etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver - Custom Fit - Matte Black Finish - Class III - 2" # e98909. It has the same capacities as the other option, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13176, but it has two key differences.
The first being the cost, the etrailer # e98909 is going to give you the same reliable and trusted quality but at a more economical price point. The Second difference being the paint job, the etrailer # e98909 is protected with a matte black finish for added durability. This unique powder coating gives etrailer hitches a carbide-like appearance and a rugged look that sets them apart from traditional glossy hitches like the Curt # C13176. In addition to being rust and corrosion resistant, the tough matte coating hides dirt, scuffs, and dings better than a glossy finish.
If you don't already have a trailer connector then I recommend installing the Hopkins Multi-Tow 7-Way Blade and 4-Way Flat Trailer Connector - Chevrolet/GMC # HM11141144. This trailer connector is going to splice to your trailer's bare factory wiring to give you a 4-pole flat and 7-pole round connection point on the rear of your vehicle.
