Fifth Wheel to Gooseneck Adapter for a 2000 Ford F-250 with a B and W Turnover Ball Gooseneck Hitch
Question:
will a curt work with a short bed truck I have a b w turn ball on my truck along with a companion hitch I have a problem that I do not have enough room to make sharp turns .because !! it might hit my cab of the truck is there anything that might help along that line. a curt with another hitch that might give me more peace of mine and also be safe with a gooseneck ball . Or what else besides putting another hitch on my truck. b w can not seem to help me with my problem they sold me a outfit that has all most tore my truck up.

If the B and W gooseneck trailer hitch in your 2000 Ford F-250 is the square shank turnover ball hitch then you would need to use the Curt X5, # 16310. The other X5 that you reference is for Curt gooseneck hitches.
You can use the X5 with a slider 5th wheel trailer hitch. For the most amount of travel I recommend the Reese slider hitch # RP30083. It has 12 inches of travel and that should help tremendously with making tight turns when towing your 5th wheel trailer. I have included a link to a video review of this hitch for you.
