Replacement Brake Assembly and Hub/Drum for 2020 Keystone Montana High Country
Question:
I HAD A WHEEL BEARING LEAK ON OUR 2020 MONTANA HIGH COUNTRY, TANDEM AXLE. THE GREASE DID GET ON THE BRAKE PADS AND BACKER PLATE ON THE ONE WHEEL. I WAS TOLD THAT I SHOULD REPLACE ALL BRAKES AND BACKER PLATES ON ALL 4 WHEELS EVEN THOUGH IT ONLY AFFECTED THE ONE WHEEL. THIS DOESNT SOUND RIGHT TO ME SINCE WE ONLY HAVE ABOUT 8000 MILES ON THE RIG. WHAT SAY YOU. THANKS

You wouldn't need all new hubs and assemblies on your 2020 Keystone Montana High Country. Just replacing the hub and brake assembly would be more than adequate. For that you could use the part # AKHD-865-7-2-EZ-K for the hub and then for the assembly # AKEBRK-7L-SA for the left hand side or # AKEBRK-7R-SA for the right hand side. Some people (including myself) have also had luck removing oil/grease from assemblies and drums/rotors by using brake parts cleaner sprayed on all the contact surfaces. But if the hub had grease leaked in it and it was driven for an extended period of time they wouldn't come back from that.
