Photo of Trimming Required for Draw-Tite Hitch for 2021 GMC Acadia
Question:
I really don't want to trim my bumper to install this hitch but I hate the way the other one looks with the crosstube below the bumper, how much would I need to trim?

The trimming of the underbody panel required on the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver part # 76023 for a 2021 GMC Acadia is very minor. I have attached a photo below. It is on the underside of the vehicle so it won't be noticeable. The panel is also removable so you can always replace it if needed like for leased vehicles. The best tool to use for trimming is a dremel but I understand not everyone has one so you can use some heavy duty shears or a razor knife.
