Can the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver for 2022 Kia Telluride be Installed at Home
Question:
I was looking at getting the Curt hitch for my 2022 Kia Telluride and would like to install it myself. Can I do this myself or do I need to take it somewhere?

The Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13420 can definitely be installed at home without having to take it to a shop for installation. This is a bolt-on installation and some trimming is required. One customer said she installed the hitch with her husband in a little over an hour.
If you plan on doing some towing, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness # CU94FR which you can also easily install yourself. This wiring harness plugs into existing wiring and will provide you with a 4-way connection to power your trailer's signal lights. If you need a ball mount, check out the etrailer Ball Mount Kit # 989899 as well. It has a 1-7/8" and 2" ball along with a ball mount bag to store everything in.
I have attached some installation videos as well as the instructions for you to check out so you can see what the process is like. If it does not look like something you would be comfortable doing, I recommend taking it to a shop so a professional can perform the installation.
