Will Furrion Tankless Water Heater Work in Freezing Temperatures
Question:
Can the Furrion tankless water heater operate in freezing temperatures, i.e. camping in winter where the temperature never exceeds freezing or perhaps only for a few hours a day? Is there any design feature preventing the heater pipes internal or external from freezing?

While we have an option for you, the Furrion RV Tankless Water Heater # FR98SR is not designed to work in temperatures below freezing. But what you can use is one from Fogatti:
- Fogatti RV Tankless Water Heater - Black # LSB44FR or White # LSB64FR
These water heaters have freeze protection so that when the water lines drop to 35 degrees, they will automatically turn on and run until the temperature of the water lines reach 90 degrees; once that happens it will automatically turn off.
Keep in mind when installing this water heater you will also need the Camco RV Water Heater Temperature and Pressure Relief Valve # CAM10423.
