Correct Mounting Orientation for Tekonsha 90195 P3 Brake Controller on 2008 Nissan Titan
Question:
The instructions for mounting this product says it needs to be as level as possible and pointingfront to back in the direction of the vehicle moving forward, but in the videos, it shows that this is being mounted pretty up and down. I have a 2008 titan and want to install it this weekend but want to make sure I do it properly and dont know whether to follow the instructions or if I can follow the videos? Thanks

As long as the controller is oriented so it's flat in the side to side horizontal plane and pointed in the direction of travel, it doesn't matter what angle the # 90195 Tekonsha P3 is installed at, as shown in the diagram I provided.
In addition to the brake controller, you'll also need the # 3050-P wiring harness (assuming the vehicle has the factory 7-way trailer connector). If you don't have the trailer connector, you'll also need the # N40975 which includes the necessary relays to activate the tow package on your truck.
I'll link to a demonstration video that explains how the Tekonsha Prodigy P3 works, as well as an install video showing the controller being installed in a 2008 Nissan Titan like yours.
