When we installed a Class III hitch like # C13397 on a 2021 Honda CR-V, we found that the top inside edge of the receiver tube sat about 14 inches above the ground. The average coupler height of a level trailer is between 16-19 inches, with a smaller trailer like your 5X8 likely being at the shorter end of that range.
I'd recommend using the # 2753 ball mount which would provide almost 3 inches of rise, which should put the ball height right where you need it. For a 1-7/8 inch ball, use # 19260 or # 63845 for a 2 inch ball.
If you don't already have one, I'd recommend the # 118741 trailer wiring harness. You can see an install video by clicking the provided link.
