Diagnosing Trailer Wiring Issues with a Draw-Tite Circuit Tester
Question:
2004 Nissan Murano. Hook hooked up the trailer harness I have lights at the end of the plug but I have no lights.

It sounds like you're having issues with your trailer lights working but your connector at the vehicle is getting power. You should start with your ground to ensure it has a solid connection to a clean section of your trailers frame or piece of metal if your trailer is aluminum. Make sure there is no corrosion, rust, dirt, or paint between the ground and the attachment point. If your ground is good and you're still having issues
I recommend using a circuit tester like item # PTW2992. You will want to test each circuit while someone is in your Nissan Murano pressing the brakes and using the turn signals to find out where you should look for a fault in your wiring.
