Recommended Hitch for a 2011 Fleetwood Tioga Ranger 24L
Question:
I want a hitch that will extend out a little so I can use my bike rack. My bike rack is a 7 bike velocirack and requires a 2 inch class III hitch with 500 lb capacity. Any suggestions

We definitely have a hitch that can install on your 2011 Fleetwood Tioga Ranger 24L, but I do need to mention that not all bike racks are rated for use on an RV. This is primarily caused by two factors, the distance between the rear axle of the RV and the receiver, and the stiffer ride typically experienced in RVs. This causes more shaking and jarring than would be experienced when mounted in the receiver on a passenger vehicle.
With that out of the way, the Curt Adjustable Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13701 will fit frames from 18" wide to 51" wide. This is also rated up to 5,000 pounds towing and 500 pounds of tongue weight so it will meet your weight capacity needs. From the front of the cross-tube to the center of the pin hole will measure 3-1/2 inches and from the front of the cross-tube to the absolute end of the receiver tube will measure 5-13/16 inches. From the hitch options we have available for RVs, this will be the best option.
