Troubleshooting Brand New Lift Motor On MaxxAir MaxxFan Not Working
Question:
Lift motor on max air stopped workingvery oily. Changed out motor and new one does not work. Any suggestions?

Since you changed out the motor on your MaxxAir MaxxFan and neither the old nor new motor are working I recommend using a circuit tester like # PTW2993 to verify that the motor is getting power.
If you find that the motor is getting power then it is likely that the operator mechanism is broken not allowing the lid to open and keeping the motor from turning on.
Let me know if the motor has power, and also send me the model number of your fan and I would be happy to recommend the correct replacement parts if needed.
