It Is not at all recommended to use two adapters with eachother, so your best option would be to use the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-6 which features a 6" rise or drop which should give you plenty more clearance, we do also offer the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-8 which will give you an 8" rise or drop for even more clearance; and the last height we offer is the Roadmaster Dual Hitch Receiver Adapter # RM-077-10 which offers a 10" rise or drop for your setup.
Additionally, it should be noted that dual hitch setups should only be used for flat towing scenarios, and not for trailer towing. For trailer towing you would need to use a Gen-Y hitch like the # Gen-Y Hitch Contractor Torsion Flex Adjustable Channel Bracket # 325-GH-10002.
