Recommended Sidewinder Pin Box For A 2017 Jayco Fifth Wheel And 2021 Ram Short Bed With Ram Boxes

I have a 2017 Jayco Fifth wheel. I just purchased a 2021 Ram with short bed and Ram Boxes. I was told that the sidewinder hitch would be the best king pin for my RV. The only numbers I’m finding on my mounting bracket is: LCI item number: 433724 and S/N: S000256851, which hitch will work with y RV, Thank You The king pin that is on the RV now is Morryde Part Number RPB72-1621HD

You're correct that a Sidewinder pin box is the best option for the your 2021 Ram with short bed and Ram Boxes. This will push the pivot point back back 22" allowing for better turning clearance and prevent the pin box moving side to side and striking the Ram Boxes.
Since your current pin box has a Lippert 1621 bolt pattern you'll be able to use the 5th Airborne Premium 5th Wheel Air Ride King Pin w/ Sidewinder and Turret - 16,000lbs # RP61422 or The Reese Sidewinder 5th Wheel King Pin with Rotating Turret - 20,000lbs # RP34FR if your trailer requires a higher GTW pin box.
Since you're using a Sidewinder pin box you'll also need a wedge kit for your 5th wheel hitch to prevent the king pin from rotating in the jaws. These are hitch/pin box specific so if you reply back with your hitch I can find the correct fitting wedge for your equipment.
