Spare Tire and Wheel Recommendation for a Livestock Trailer
Question:
This trailer has P235/85/R16 tires on a 6 bolt white spoke wheel. What size wheel do we need for a spare? What vehicle would have this size wheel? It appears that the parallel bolts are about 5 1/2 inch apart, center to center.

For that tire size you will need a 16 inch rim with a width range of 6-7-1/2 inches.
It sounds like you have a 6 on 5-1/2 inch bolt pattern (check the FAQ article to confirm this) so I would recommend you get a Dexstar Conventional Steel Wheel # AM20758. This is a black, steel rim that is 16 inches in diameter and is 6 inches wide, as well as seemingly has the right bolt pattern you need.
Check out the FAQ article on determining bolt patterns to confirm your bolt pattern.
I would recommend you also get a trailer tire instead of the passenger vehicle tire you currently have. For that check out the Karrier ST235-85R16 Part # AM10295.
