I reached out to my contact at Curt and the main cause for the Curt Echo # C51180 to stay solid blue and not green when the trailer is connected is usually debris/corrosion in the trailer connector, or a ground wire issue.
I recommend first checking that the trailer connector did not get any debris in it, and that there is not green/white corrosion forming. If that checks out then check that the main ground on the tongue of your trailer is securely connected and did not work its way loose.
If this does not correct the issue just email me back and we can go into more in-depth troubleshooting.
I included a video of the # C51180 for you to take a look at.
