I suggest you check your owners manual to identify what system your 2017 Forest River Wildwood X-Lite Travel Trailer is pre-wired for. Many of these are pre-wired for Furrion set-up. If that is the situation for your camper, I recommend the Furrion RV Observation Camera System, # FOS43TASF. The typical arrangement is for the factory wiring to function when you shift into reverse. However, it can be rewired to work anytime the running lights are on if you change the power wire location in your trailer to the running light circuit. You will then have a constant view. And yes, this would pretty much be plug and play. Checkout the product review and installation video that is linked below.
If you want to expand the system beyond only a back-up camera, I suggest the Furrion Vision S w/ Side Marker Light Cameras, # FCE48TASL-05. This is the same system plus blind spot side marker lights with built in cameras.
If you discover that your TT is wired for something different than a Furrion please let me know.
