Recommended Tailgate Lock For 2014 Toyota Tacoma That Can Be Locked Via Key FOB

Question:

how do I program it to lock with the key fob? Is there instructions that come with it? There’s currently one on the truck but it broke and I need to replace it because I can’t get the tailgate open. The back of the handle broke off and now it’s just a decoration lol

I have another option for you, but the Pop & Lock Custom Locking Tailgate Handle # PAL5500 you were looking at is a manual only lock meaning it can only be locked or unlocked via the included key.

Instead you will want the # PAL8540 which is confirmed to fit your 2014 Toyota Tacoma and gets wired to your power door locks so that the tailgate can be locked with the key fob, or the bolt lock allows you to manually lock and unlock it via your trucks ignition key.
