Will the Thule Apex Trailer Hitch Mount Bike Rack Clear the Spare Tire on a 2004 Honda CR-V
Question:
Just need to verify that Part# TH9029 and Part # 13535 Curt Hitch will fit over the spare on a 2004 Honda CRV.

It is very likely that you will be able to use the Thule Apex, # TH9025XT, with Curt trailer hitch # 13535 and clear the spare tire on your 2004 Honda CR-V. However, ultimately you will want to install the trailer hitch first, then measure from the center of the hitch pin hole straight back to the distance required to clear the spare tire. If that distance is less than 12 inches then the rack will clear the spare.
I have included a link to an FAQ article that will help with how to measure to find a rack that will fit.
If you will be carrying any bikes that do not have a top frame tube that goes straight across (like a typical mens bike) then I recommend using and adapter # TH982XT. This will allow you to carry those bikes more level and provide better ground clearance. I have included a link to a video showing how the adapter works.
