I recently just bought this for a 2018 X5 and was curious what tools and/or extra parts like rivets I need to get ahead of the install?

The tools that you need to install the Draw-Tite Max-Frame Trailer Hitch Receiver # 75600 on your 2018 BMW X5 are as follows.
-Heavy duty utility knife(for trimming the bumper fascia)
-Center punch
-5/32" rivet tool
-10mm socket
-18mm deep well socket
-Torque Wrench
New rivets are included with the receiver and you will reuse the factory flange nuts for mounting the bumper.
