Wiring Harness Bracket for Draw-Tite Class III Hitch on 2021 Subaru Outback
Question:
Hi, I ordered this hitch receiver and the Tow Ready Mounting Bracket 4-Pole Flat for my 2021 Outback Onyx XT. The description for DT73RR says: Integrated mounting point lets you attach a bracket for a 4-way or 7-way plug sold separately I’ve been looking at pictures of this hitch and don’t see where the bracket will mount. I’ve seen other draw-tite hitches that have a small plate to attach the mounting bracket, but not in this one. Am I missing something? Thanks

Expert Reply:
The Draw-Tite # DT73RR doesn't feature the standoff for a trailer connector mounting bracket, although we do offer the part that the connector mounting bracket like # 18144 would attach to. The part is available as part # 18140, and it would attach to the hitch crossbar using the included pipe clamp as shown in the video I've linked for you.
